Silks – End of Season Details

Here is all of the details for the final weeks of the silks season…

Silks Showcase: Sunday April 14th, 11am & 2pm

All silks classes will perform twice (to allow all families an opportunity to watch the showcase) on April 14th.  The showcase will take place at the studio.  A short reception will be held in the lobby after each performance.  There will be a lunch break in between for the performers.

Aerialists are to wear their black bodysuits, black capri-length leggings (or black unitards), barefeet and have their hair in a bun. 

Call time is 9:30 am for Production Silks and 10am for all other Silks classes.  Everyone will stay through until the end of the second show. Please pack a lunch, drinks and snacks (no nut products please!).

Tickets On Sale March 18th at 3pm

Tickets will be $15 per person and will go on sale Monday March 18th at 3pm.  Tickets are limited to 4 per family for the first 2 weeks of sale.  As of April 2, any remaining tickets will be available for additional purchase.  Seating will be general admission. 

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to showtime.

To purchase, login to the new parent portal, click where it says “Shop”, then “Tickets”.  You can then choose your preferred time of 11am or 2pm.  Follow the system prompts for the number of tickets you want and your contact information.  Complete your purchase with payment by Visa or Mastercard. 

If you prefer to pay by debit, you will need to purchase your tickets in person at the studio.  If you prefer to pay by etransfer, please send payment to info@irdance.ca and in the memo or in a second message let us know the number of tickets for which performance you would like.

Rehearsal: Saturday April 13th, 3:00 – 6:00 pm

A rehearsal will be held at the studio for all silks performers.  All Silks Dancers are required for the full rehearsal time.  Wear your black capri leggings, bodysuit and have your hair in a bun.

Final Classes: April 7, 9, 11, 13

The final day of regular silks classes will be Sunday April 7th, Monday April 9th, Thursday April 11th and Saturday April 13th (whichever is your dancer’s regular class day).

Photo Week: Mon April 29 – Sat May 4

Silks classes have scheduled photo times too!  A detailed schedule will be released after March Break.
