Signing In & Out at the Theatre
The tech rehearsals (at the theatre!) are are drop-off event and closed to families. (Parents of Primary & Junior 1 classes are required to stay with their dancer.) For drop off, check in with your group’s volunteer so dancer attendance is recorded. For pick-up, we need an adult/guardian for all dancers to sign out with the volunteers. (Pre-Company, Company & Senior dancers – those in grade 9 and up – do not require a guardian present for sign out.)
Please note that only water is permitted inside the auditorium, so please try to eat while on the way to the rehearsals as lobby space and supervision is very limited.
Traffic, Parking & Transportation
Due to construction on the Gardiner, please give yourself ample time to arrive at the theatre. There is a stacked parking lot with ample parking at Church & Esplanade (approx. 4 blocks from the theatre). Alternate parking may be available closer, but availability is more limited.
You may want to consider taking UP or GO transit. The theatre is a short walk from Union Station.
Recital Tickets
Tickets are on sale now and sold online only. At this time, there is no sales limit in place. Please be certain of what show your child is in and take the time to ensure you are purchasing for the correct performance. If you are unsure of what show your child is in, go to the online bulletin board. You can purchase tickets through the new parent portal.
Lunch at the Theatre
For dancers and families who are in both of the Saturday shows (Pink and Yellow) and would like lunch at the theatre, we have organized Subway catering. Click here to order. Orders must be submitted by May 16th.
Last Minute Questions
There will not be staff at the studio to reply to emails or phone calls once we go to the theatre. The tech rehearsals and performances are busy days, so we may not be able to help with minor issues that arise the day of.
